Marelle Privacy Policy

Effective October 28, 2026.

In short: Marelle does not collect, send, or sell personal data. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your cycle data stays on your iPhone, and in Apple Health if you allow it.

What is stored and where. Your periods, symptoms and mood are saved in Apple Health, if you allow it. What Apple Health has no place for stays only on your iPhone: your energy logs, your answers to Marelle’s questions, how your predictions have done, your year of birth if you add it, the birth control you choose in Marelle, and your settings. We have no servers that receive any of this, and we cannot see it. Predictions and patterns are calculated on your iPhone.

Apple Health. If you allow it, Marelle reads and writes your periods, symptoms and mood in Apple Health, and reads the birth control saved there. On iOS 27 or later, Marelle can also read your menopause stage, and save it when you choose one. You choose which types, and you can change that anytime in the Health app (your profile › Apps › Marelle). Marelle uses this data only to show your cycle and calculate predictions inside the app. It is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, never shared with third parties, and never sent to our servers.

Backups. If your iPhone backup is on (iCloud or computer), what Marelle keeps on your iPhone is included. Apple manages that backup in your account. The copy of your Apple Health data that the widget uses is left out of the backup.

Purchases. Marelle Insights is a subscription (every 6 months or yearly) bought through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your payment details. The app only asks Apple, on your iPhone, whether your subscription is active. You manage or cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings.

Report and export. The report for your doctor (PDF) and the export file (CSV) are created on your iPhone only when you ask for them, and you choose who to share them with.

Beta testing. If you test Marelle through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple shares with us your email, crash reports, basic usage statistics, and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send. The cycle data you log in Marelle is not part of that. In test versions, Marelle can also read bleeding between periods from Apple Health, only to measure on your iPhone how well it predicts. That data doesn’t leave your iPhone either. Please don’t include personal health details in your feedback.

Deleting your data. In Marelle’s settings you can delete everything Marelle keeps on your iPhone. Periods you logged from the widget are moved to Apple Health first, so you don’t lose them. Deleting the app also removes its data from your iPhone. Data saved in Apple Health stays there until you delete it in the Health app.

Children. Marelle collects no data from anyone, including children.

If you email us. The app holds no personal data about you: your data lives on your device, under your control. If you email us, we use your email and message only to reply, and we delete them if you ask. If you are in the EU or EEA, you can also contact a data protection authority.

Changes. Any change is posted on this page with its date. If Marelle ever starts collecting data, we will say so here and in the app before it happens.

En resumen: Marelle no recopila, no envía y no vende datos personales. No tiene cuentas, anuncios, analítica ni rastreo. Los datos de tu ciclo se quedan en tu iPhone y, si lo permites, en Apple Salud.

Qué guarda y dónde. Tus periodos, síntomas y ánimo se guardan en Apple Salud, si lo permites. Lo que no tiene lugar en Apple Salud se queda solo en tu iPhone: tu energía registrada, tus respuestas a las preguntas de Marelle, cómo les ha ido a tus predicciones, tu año de nacimiento si lo agregas, el método anticonceptivo que elijas en Marelle y tus ajustes. No tenemos servidores que reciban nada de esto y no podemos verlo. Las predicciones y los patrones se calculan en tu iPhone.

Apple Salud. Si lo permites, Marelle lee y escribe tus periodos, síntomas y ánimo en Apple Salud, y lee el método anticonceptivo guardado ahí. En iOS 27 o posterior, Marelle también puede leer tu etapa de menopausia y guardarla cuando eliges una. Tú eliges qué tipos y puedes cambiarlo cuando quieras en la app Salud (tu perfil › Apps › Marelle). Marelle usa estos datos solo para mostrar tu ciclo y calcular predicciones dentro de la app. Nunca se usan para publicidad ni marketing, nunca se venden, nunca se comparten con terceros y nunca se envían a nuestros servidores.

Respaldos. Si tienes activado el respaldo de tu iPhone (iCloud o computadora), lo que Marelle guarda en tu iPhone se incluye en él. Ese respaldo lo administra Apple en tu cuenta. La copia de tus datos de Apple Salud que usa el widget queda fuera del respaldo.

Compras. Marelle Insights es una suscripción (cada 6 meses o anual) que se compra en el App Store. Apple procesa el pago; nosotros no recibimos tus datos de pago. La app solo le pregunta a Apple, desde tu iPhone, si tu suscripción está activa. La administras o cancelas en los Ajustes de tu iPhone.

Reporte y exportación. El reporte para tu médico (PDF) y el archivo de exportación (CSV) se crean en tu iPhone solo cuando los pides, y tú decides con quién compartirlos.

Pruebas beta. Si pruebas Marelle con TestFlight de Apple, Apple nos comparte tu correo, reportes de fallos, estadísticas básicas de uso y los comentarios o capturas que decidas enviar. Los datos de tu ciclo que registras en Marelle no forman parte de eso. En las versiones de prueba, Marelle también puede leer de Apple Salud el sangrado entre periodos, solo para medir en tu iPhone qué tan bien predice. Ese dato tampoco sale de tu iPhone. Por favor no incluyas detalles personales de salud en tus comentarios.

Borrar tus datos. En los ajustes de Marelle puedes borrar todo lo que Marelle guarda en tu iPhone. Los periodos que registraste desde el widget pasan antes a Apple Salud, para que no los pierdas. Al eliminar la app también se borran sus datos de tu iPhone. Los datos guardados en Apple Salud se quedan ahí hasta que los borres en la app Salud.

Menores de edad. Marelle no recopila datos de nadie, incluidos menores.

Si nos escribes. La app no guarda datos personales tuyos: tus datos viven en tu dispositivo, bajo tu control. Si nos escribes, usamos tu correo y tu mensaje solo para responderte, y los borramos si nos lo pides. Si estás en la UE o el EEE, también puedes acudir a una autoridad de protección de datos.

Cambios. Cualquier cambio se publica en esta página con su fecha. Si algún día Marelle empezara a recopilar datos, lo avisaremos aquí y en la app antes de hacerlo.
